I have been in the Beauty Industry for six years, sometimes I am behind the chair at my salon, Southern Girl Natural Hair Studio.

Other times I am on location styling hair at Fashion Shows, on Film or Television sets.

As one of the Faces of Sola, I share my journey and encourage others to take a chance on themselves and their dreams. As I say, I am practicing what I preach and I am just getting started…

My camera is one thing I don’t often leave the house without.

I am a Fashion, Fine Art and Lifestyle Photographer.

I like to take all my unique gifts and create photo collections that tell stories.

Photography is the best way for me to try to show the world life through my eyes.

Filmmaking

Filmmaking is a new found passion. I owe it all to a snow storm for introducing us.

Painting

Painting always fascinated me, but it did not seem like an attainable skill for me.

One art class and my unconscious actions, lead to my professor nudging me to dig deeper into Painting.

I didn’t see what he saw, but I knew I enjoyed painting.

I was wrong, turns out I was a natural with my own unique style and point of view.

Now I see that he saw the painter in me…
